Dr. Ranjani Somayaji completed medical training followed by residency training in internal medicine and fellowship training in infectious disease through the University of Calgary. Following this, Dr. Somayaji completed a Master's in Public Health through Johns Hopkins University as well as three years of advanced fellowship training. Dr. Somayaji has expertise in the areas of general infectious disease, chronic lung diseases (e.g. cystic fibrosis bronchiectasis), and wound healing. Dr. Somayaji is a tenured Associate Professor and the Academic Head in the Division of Infectious Disease at the University of Calgary.
