Rachid Mohamed is a gastroenterologist at the Peter Lougheed and Foothills Medical Centres specializing in advanced pancreaticobiliary and luminal endoscopy. He completed his medical school at the Universities of Toronto and Alberta, internal medicine residency at the University of Alberta and gastroenterology and advanced endoscopy fellowships at the University of Calgary. He is currently the gastroenterology site lead at the Peter Lougheed Centre and head of Therapeutic Endoscopy for the Calgary region. His clinical interests include pancreaticobiliary endoscopy, interventional endoscopic ultrasound and advanced tissue resection.
