Dr. Luke Rannelli completed his Internal Medicine residency in 2016 and a General Internal Medicine Fellowship in 2018 at the University of Calgary. He completed additional training in Thrombosis Management and Peripheral Vascular Disease medical treatment at McMaster University in Hamilton. He was also an author of the newly published Canadian Cardiovascular Society Guidelines for Peripheral Vascular Disease published in 2022. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC) and also holds a Masters of Science in Exercise Physiology.
Dr. Rannelli is currently a General Internal Medicine specialist at Rockyview General Hospital and a clinical assistant professor at the University of Calgary. He also is part of the Thrombosis group in Calgary.
Dr. Rannelli has a keen interest in Thrombosis management, however as a General Internist is a specialist in multi-system diseases such as cardiovascular risk stratification, hypertension, diabetes, perioperative care and renal dysfunction
