Dr. Kendra Lamb completed an undergraduate BA degree in Sports Medicine in California, where she competed in division one tennis on a full athletic scholarship. She then returned to Calgary, completing medical school at the University of Calgary in 2003, and a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2008.
Dr. Lamb is currently a staff Ob/Gyn at the Peter Lougheed Hospital. She has been practicing there for over 15 years, providing care in Obstetrics and surgical Gynecology, as well as ambulatory care in her practice at Calgary Women’s Specialty Clinic. Most recently Dr. Lamb has received her Menopause Society Certified Practitioner designation, and has an interest in menopausal and perimenopausal medicine, providing well rounded mid-life care for women.
She is happy to answer any questions pertaining to menopausal and peri-menopausal symptoms and options for hormone therapy, including genitourinary syndrome of menopause and local/topical options for this specifically. Other examples of common Ob/Gyn related questions include options for contraception, especially in medically complex patients. Pregnancy related questions could include first trimester management of patients with previous pregnancy complications, such as previous pre-eclampsia or pre-existing diabetes or pre-diabetes.
