Dr. Joly is originally from Northern Alberta. He completed medical school in the francophone stream at the university of Ottawa and his orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Calgary. He then completed a lower limb reconstruction fellowship with focus on hip and knee arthroplasty at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto followed by an orthopaedic trauma fellowship at the University of Ottawa.
Dr. Joly started his clinic practice as a locum at South Health Campus in 2020 before starting at he Rockyview General Hospital in 2021. His clinical focus is on primary and revision hip and knee arthroplasty as well as orthopaedic trauma. He is a clinical lecturer for the University of Calgary medical school.
