Dr. Anthony Cook is a highly skilled urologist specializing in both pediatric and adult reconstructive and general urology. He earned his medical degree from the University of Western Ontario, where he graduated as the gold medallist, awarded to the top student in his class. Following his residency, Dr. Cook became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada and completed a two-year subspecialty fellowship in pediatric urology at the renowned Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Ontario.
Dr. Cook served on staff at the Hospital for Sick Children for two years before taking up positions at the Alberta Children’s Hospital, Rockyview General Hospital, and High River General Hospital. His contributions to urology education are significant, including the development of the first pediatric urology fellowship program at the University of Calgary, where he also served as the Head of the Division of Pediatric Urology for over 12 years.
Dr. Cook remains deeply committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care and is passionate about patient advocacy and collaborative approaches to healthcare. He continues to maintain a full clinical practice, dedicated to improving outcomes for patients of all ages.
