Dr. Kapoor is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada with specialty qualification in Internal Medicine and subspecialty qualification in Cardiology. He completed Medical School in St. Petersburg, Russia followed by his Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Alberta. He completed his Adult Cardiology Fellowship at the University of Manitoba. He subsequently completed further training in vascular medicine and carotid ultrasound at the Cleveland Clinic, USA.
Dr. Kapoor’s interests are in clinical cardiology, echocardiography, carotid ultrasound, and vascular medicine. He is a founding partner of Southern Alberta Medical and the President of Advanced Cardiology Consultants and Diagnostics in Calgary. He is the founder of the Community Heart Failure Assessment, Rehabilitation and Management Clinic (CHARM Heart Failure Clinic) and the DIL Walk Foundation. He is also the founder and CEO of CardiAI Inc, a BioTechnology Company. He is actively involved in multiple national and international trials in the field of arrhythmias, vascular medicine, heart failure, lipids, mobile technologies and acute coronary syndromes.
