Dr. Ambika Gupta completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Cross Disciplinary Studies with Distinction at the University of Western Ontario, where she completed courses in medical sciences and attended the Richard Ivey School of Business. She then completed medical school at the University of Ottawa, followed by Internal Medicine residency training at Queen’s University. She later completed her Rheumatology sub-specialty training at the University of Alberta, followed by a clinical and research fellowship in Systemic Lupus Erythematosus at the University of Toronto. She was the recipient of the Geoff Carr Lupus Fellowship by Lupus Ontario in 2021. She worked at Trillium Health Partners in Mississauga from 2021-2023 providing Rheumatology and Internal Medicine consultation services.
Dr. Gupta now provides full-spectrum Rheumatology care in Calgary, with a special interest in Lupus. She is a Rheumatology staff physician at Richmond Road Diagnostic and Treatment Centre and is also involved in medical education as a Clinical Lecturer at the University of Calgary.
